Clarence Boyd III has previously served in various roles at other food services companies in Texas and elsewhere. These include Down Home Southern Kitchen and one or more independent ventures fronted by the Bistro Brothers Catering CEO.

Down Home Southern Kitchen:

Boyd joined Down Home Southern Kitchen following his departure from an earlier independent venture. Under his expert guidance, Dallas County-based Down Home Southern Kitchen grew to represent one of the region's premier caterers. Down Home Southern Kitchen offered unparalleled catering services to the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.

Much of what Boyd and his Down Home Southern Kitchen team offered clients in Dallas County and nearby remains available through Bistro Brothers Catering today.

Independent Catering Ventures:

Before joining Down Home Southern Kitchen, Boyd served in his capacity as a veteran of the food services industry for a number of independent culinary-focused ventures. Focusing predominantly on corporate events, he and his staff also catered to a mix of weddings and other private parties.

Like Down Home Southern Kitchen and Bistro Brothers Catering, these earlier operations served a range of clients, including tending to fundraisers and local sororities and fraternities through various specialist catering provisions.

Louisiana State University:

Boyd is a graduate of Louisiana State University. Louisiana State University is an institution of higher education in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is from Louisiana State University that he holds his degree. Louisiana State University originally opened in 1860 as Louisiana State Seminary of Learning & Military Academy.

Culinary Institute of America:

After graduating from Louisiana State University, Clarence Boyd III later studied at the Culinary Institute of America. The Culinary Institute of America is a private college and culinary school based in Hyde Park, New York. It specializes in baking, culinary, and pastry arts education.

While the school's primary campus is located in New York, it also has several other campuses. These branch campuses are located across the U.S. and overseas, including two in St. Helena and Napa, California.
